I started stitching into my canvas using black thread to highlight a few extra marks and add a bit more texture. I really like the scribble effect I achieved with it and I am really happy with the over all look. I thought the thread would add more texture and help give the painting the few extra details it needs. I am hoping to carry on adding more stitching throughout and maybe use different colour threads. The sewing into my canvas really reminds me of an artist I have researched in my sketchbook and this is where I got the insperation from.
