FMP (12/5/16)

I added more colour to my canvas today. I started by adding some pink. I thought that all the colours on my painting where abit too similar and I wanted to add a bold colour that would still match the rest of the work. I thought pink would work well because of the oranges and yellows and I also thought it was a good block colour to work over. I originally planned to keep the patches pink but when I added the pink I thought it could possibly be a bit too bold and odd so I painted over bits with white. I really love it too. I like how it looks patchy and blends together in a weird way. I'm hoping to work over the pink/white with oil pastels and create more abstract shapes and elements to the piece.
