Today I started and finished my first design sheet. I created this on cardboard and wanted to incorporate a lot of the research i have been looking at throughout my sketchbook such as peeled paint, rusting, decay, litter and graffiti. I'm happy with the outcome of this sheet. Today I have also started to paint on some tin cans I found on my travels. I've done this as it links with my litter element of the project but I also wanted to see what different effects I could get on the metal. I have also played around today using alcohol based inks and rubbing alcohol to create small samples in my sketchbook mimicking rust.
