FMP ( structure )

Today we got told about the word in which we needed to relate our final major project to. The word we got given is 'structure'. When I found out about the word I was extremely exited and I had a lot of ideas.
As a group we created a giant mind map of all the branches we could work from in this project, I also created my own mind map whilst listening to Claire talking about the brief. Some of the ideas I came up with for the word structure where
- The structure of family life and relationships
- The structure of class (poor and rich)
- The structure of texture and the build up of paint.
I added these ideas to both mind maps and a lot of my fellow peers thought of some brilliant ideas which inspired me even more.
Claire spoke through the project breif which helped me a lot as I managed to make lots of notes and plan out what I needed to do this weekend.
Thankfully I could start the project straight away after having all my level 3 work completed. This meant I was aloud to go and research some of the ideas that I had mind mapped and try and get a slight idea on what I was wanting to do.
With me loving fine art I knew straight away what I wanted to look at which was some form of texture/abstract art. This meant that I knew what to look for which guided me a lot.
I really enjoyed the research and I took a real interest into quite a few artists Claire mentioned in the PowerPoint she showed us. After collecting my research I decided to create a cleaner looking mind map on the first page of my sketchbook. I also added images to the mind map and my own sketches also.
