The next part of the day we had a lesson with Claire where we did a similar thing however this time we could draw the zoomed in section free hand and could use whichever medium we wanted.
This was a much better activity for me and I really enjoyed picking out different areas to draw and add texture to. We got given an A3 picture of a plant cell.
We then got asked to split this picture into 4 and then in groups of 4 each produced a section of this picture on A3 enlarging the image freehand.
I
decided to create my quarter using acrylic paint and ink. I dipped round objects such as plastic cups into thick paint and then printed that onto paper to create the round circles similar to the picture I was given. I really liked the final outcome however it didn't look too much like the photo.
