Today I started experimenting at college. I got a large canvas and decided to create a piece that had colour and texture. I wanted to look closer into mixed media so I decided to start collaging bits out of magazines. While I was doing that I realised I could easily make bits of scrap paper into buildings by painting on them and adding detail.
I really love the outcome from this experiment and I wanted to start doing more research into collaging. This is when I looked closer into creating buildings with bits of scrap paper/materials. I can't wait to use some of my findings in my final piece and am really enjoying looking closer into mixed media work.
