Research work FMP (15/4/16)

I decided to look closer into graffiti. This is because I really loved the work by Heather day with the scribbles. I feel that these scribbles almost look like graffiti so I thought looking at that may link it together. I went around Barnsley town into some of the rougher areas and took some close up images of the graffiti on the walls. I was hoping that I could recreate some of these scribbles and add them to my work. I have already been practicing adding scribbles to my canvas work using oil pastels and hope to do this on my main piece too. I really love the splashes of colour and the random flow they have. Here are some of the images I've taken, I will be developing these and creating a page in my sketchbook with them stuck in.
